A good example of gold bullion with two lines of crimson silk and terminating with gold and bullion knot and tassels. Retaining crimson material lining. Bullion retains bright.

Worn by British Infantry regular Officers until the introduction of the 1880 pattern British Infantry uniform when a waist sash was adopted.
