WW1 1918 Scottish Artillery Trench Periscope & Leather Case.
A superb and rare attributed example of the issue brass tube pattern trench periscope with extending lens by Beck & Co 1918. The brass body retains 95% of the original green painted finish and is complete with the detachable wood handle. Contained in original brown leather case with 321 RGA stamp. Overall near VGC. This is one of the best example of the type I have handled and now very hard to find with the extending lens, leather case and unit attribution.

The 321 Siege Battery RGA was raised as the 2/2nd Highland Brigade and based at the Drill Hall on Brown Street, Dundee. It comprised a headquarters, the 2/1st Forfarshire, 2/1st Fifeshire and 2/1st City of Dundee Batteries and the Brigade Ammunition Column.
