WW1 1914 Leather Equipment Helve Carrier Bayonet Combination.
This is an outstanding sleepy original as worn example.
Comprising:
1914 pattern bayonet frog with stamp 1082
1914 pattern helve carrier with stamp 1036
1907 pattern bayonet by Wilkinson dated March 1916. No oil hole to the pommel. The scabbard stamped HGR with possibly 15 or 16.
Looking at the set there is no doubt in my mind the group has never being apart. I can see no date stamps to the leather but I have not pulled it apart to look. The leather is matching colour and wear. Light surface rust to part of the pommel Blade clean.
A very rare as worn set a been there and seen it item.
