WW2 Pattern Fleet Air Arm Pilot Aircrew Flying Helmet.

A good and interesting as worn example of the Naval C type second pattern helmet. Retaining wiring loom and earphones. Fitted with a WW2 pattern H Type oxygen mask with large wartime pattern mike. Dated April 1953. Leather is a good colour and very supple, few scuffs. Possibly Size 2.

This helmet appears to remain as originally worn and used in the early post war years.
