This original example records the sacrifice of Private Samuel Frederick Gath. The scroll has been folded into a frame. See pictures for condition.

16692 Private Samuel Frederick Gath was a native of Bristol and volunteered for service with the SLI. Posted to the 1st Bn he was Killed in Action on the 4th October 1917 and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial.
