WW1 RFC / RAF FE2B Propellor Boss Trench Art Clock & Photograph.

This clock and photograph came together and show the type of propellor the clock is made from. No doubt the same workshop.

A better than average propellor boss clock. This example with stamps to the front of the boss indicating an early example. Stamped FE2B 120HP, the engine horse power and aircraft type. The boss is fitted onto a plinth again made from a prop and raised on ball feet. The bolt holes are decorated with bullet brass cases. Fitted with a period clock movement that chines on the hour and half hour. The movement appears to be in clean condition appears to be running well (Ticking away in my study for some weeks), when level but assume it requires work. The face enamel with cracks. There is no glass to the face and I can not see where one would have been fitted. The height is 14 inches. The timber is a good colour and patina. Complete with key
Please note I am selling this as a historical collectors item only not as a working clock, although it has been happy running for some weeks. I am happy to give basic instructions to set the clock up but I am not an expert.
