WW1 British Brodie Steel Helmet.
A very good clean example of the B Pattern Brodie helmet the shell made by Thomas Firth & Son Ltd Sheffield (FKS). The shell retains its original green textured paint and the interior with oilcloth lining. Complete with original leather chinstrap, which retains a good colour and is supple. This tooled with the size and faint name of the original owner. The underside of the lining with the pink Brodie stamp. Cushion to the interior crown absent and a dent to the crown showing signs of a working life, otherwise a superb clean example of the pattern
