WW1 1916 Portsmouth Zeppelin Raid Shrapnel souvenir Paper Weight.
A unusual and rare souvenir in the form of a piece of shell shrapnel (Length 6 1/2 inches) rather cruddy but as original attached to a polished wood plinth. This retaining a silvered engraved plaque “PIECE OF SHELL FIRED AT FIRST ZEPPELIN OVER PORTSMOUTH 25-26. 9. 16”. Overall GC untouched original condition.
Plinth length 10 inches. Depth 4 inches.
