WW2 Home Guard Equipment As Originally Worn.
This is a rare untouched recent find and remains as last originally worn.
Comprising:
Black leather belt with a 1940 date stamp. This with cracking and dry to parts, also with a small leather repair.
Webbing rear sleeve for attachment of web braces. 1942.
Webbing Pouches Each with clear 1942 date.
Webbing Brace Straps.
The webbing is a matching colour and there can be no doubt always worn together. The set was discovered in a house clearance in the Buckinghamshire area this may explain the black leather belt being associated with the Ox & Bucks Light Infantry.
Overall GC leather belt dry. The basic repair was made to a crack in the leather
A very rare opportunity for a Home Guard collector to acquire a true set as worn
