WW2 RAF C Type Aircrew Flying Helmet.
A very good size 4 example of the 2nd pattern tailored with internal wiring loom. The leather retains a good rich colour and the rubber ear cups remain supple and a good shape. The wiring is complete with jack plug. The interior with faint issue stamps and also blind tooled with 22c/88 last number obstructed by the loom plug. This number would indicate 22c/880 which is size 4. Has been used but remains in very good issued condition.
