WW1 Wilkinson Private Purchase Officer’s Body Armour.

A very rare original set of personal body armour made by Wilkinson. The metal plates enclosed in cotton cloth. Comprising front and back plates and retaining original waist strap. The inside of the armour with oval makers stamp and “This Side to Body” stamp. Retaining gilt buttons to the shoulder, the original shoulder ties absent. The overall condition is near VGC, some moth to the web waist strap otherwise good original clean condition.
