WW1 Period RFC RNAS Early RAF Flying Helmet.
A good example of a private purchase aviation / motoring style helmet of light brown soft leather. Tailored with fold back ear flaps secured by brass press studs. These of the open pattern typical of period examples. The interior with blanket lining and owners details. Leather supple and retains a good rich colour. One small area of cracking to leather see photograph.
