WW1 Period British Army Brodie Steel Helmet.
A Very good original example of the pattern worn in the front line during the Great War. The shell with original green paint sand textured finish and the under side stamped FKS indicating the maker Thomas Firth & Sons Ltd of Sheffield 1916-1918. Complete with original oilcloth lining, this with pink Brodie stamp . Felt crown cushion now absent. Retaining original supple brown leather chinstrap, this with faint pencil name and size stamp 7 1/4. The overall condition is very good 99% of original painted finish.
