WW1 Turkish Prisoner of War Trench Art Box.
A very rare example of WW1 Turkish POW work in the form of an alloy cigarette box, raised on legs. The lid is decorated with Turkish flags etc. The sides with engraved decoration and to the underside “SOUVENIR OF THE EUROPIAN WAR P OF W CAMP BELLARY INDIA”. The inside retains is wood base lining. Overall GC engraving clear. Slight age wear. Size 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 x (height) 2 1/4 inches.
