WW1 British Quilted Spine Pad.
An extremely rare example made of quilted cotton, with neck collar and string waist band. Faint ink stamps, one I believe to be a maker’s stamp. Small amount of service and storage wear, otherwise near VGC.
This spine pad was worn during the Great War by Lieutenant Edward Savereux who was commissioned with the 10th Bn Queen’s Regiment and served with the Regiment in the Egypt. He had previously served 14th (London Scottish) London Regiment.
