Original WWI Pattern Tank Driver’s Face Mask.
A very good and scarce original example of the pattern used by British tank crews. Leather covered metal with slotted eye pieces. To the lower section to cover the mouth chain mail. The interior retains soft leather lining and all four old web ties. Leather supple, chain without rusting Minor service and age wear.
This is a superb original example not to be confused with the large number of reproductions been sold.
