A superb and supple classic RFC example of a private purchase Great War flying coat, the leather retains a good honey colour, tailored with plastron front with slated map pocket and single waist pocket. The interior with heavy blanket wool lining, retaining internal leather straps. The coat is complete with original leather waist belt. Leather remains supple, with no rips to the leather near VGC. This is one of the best examples seen on the market for some years

This coat represents the classic design of the Great War.
