WW2 RAF Battle of Britain Period 1939 Dated “Scramble Bell”

A very good and rare large brass bell, with large engraved Crowned AM 1939 engraving. The reverse with painted text “Don’t Come and Tell Ring The Bell Like Hell” The crown with makers faint stamp “C.C” Complete with Clapper. The bell remains in untouched condition now with an overall Tobacco brown patina. I would think the painting is a later addition but I have left it place.
