WW1 1918 215th Company Machine Gun Corps Divisional Badged 1902 Pattern Tunic.

An outstanding rare originally badged tunic worn by a Sergeant of the Machine Gun Corps, believed to have served with the 215th Company. The tunic is of the 1902 pattern, with double pleat below the stand and full collar. To each sleeve a green felt cross Divisional Badge approx 3 inches long believed to be that of the 215th Coy. (Waring's Pamphlet No.2 Item D623) and Sergeant chevrons. The right sleeve with the addition of a MG cloth proficiency badge and three blue overseas service chevrons. Complete with MGC brass buttons. (one detached but present) The interior with white cotton linings, with WD issue stamp and name "Sgt Marland". Also retaining large part of the original paper issue label this with part date indicating 1918. Remains in superb clean condition.

The 215th Coy MGC served with the 58th (2/1st London) Division.
