WW1 Royal Engineers TWO Officer's Tunics.

This pair of tunics were worn by Captain William Hollingsworth Agar Hunt who served in Russia during the Great War. Comprising: Cuff rank service dress tunic, this of the regulation pattern with Captain rank stars and lace to the cuff and complete with RE buttons and collar badges. The left breast with medal ribbons for the BWM & VM. The lining with tailors label and ink name. Good clean original condition, one pocket button absent. ... Accompanied by a 1916 Pattern shoulder rank Officer's tunic. This tailored with ticket pocket (Indicating Great War Period). Complete with RE collar badges and buttons (these with GVR cypher, one button later replacement ). The left breast with medal ribbons of the BWM, VM & MID oak Leaf. Retains a name tag to the lining. Captain William Hollingsworth Agar Hunt was commissioned in 1905, his Medal Index Card shows that he fought in Russia landing on the 25th April 1917. He appears to have resigned his Commission in 1926.
