WW1 1st Bn Monmouthshire Regiment Officer's Group of Medals.

Awarded to Second Lieutenant Ivor Roger Edwards, who as a Territorial service with the RAMC, before being commissioned into the 1st Monmouthshire Regiment. Comprising: 1914/15 Star, "458 PTE IR EDWARDS RAMC", British War Medal, Victory Medal, "2. LIEUT I.R. EDWARDS". Medals loose.

Second Lieutenant Ivor Roger Edwards was born in 1893 at Bedwellty, Monmouthshire and in 1911 was living at Battersea. He enlisted into the RAMC and landed in France on the 8th May 1915. He was commissioned on the 31st July 1917 into the 1st Bn Monmouthshire Regiment and saw further overseas service. His medals were issued in 1925.
