Lancashire Special Constabulary Group Leader Medal Possibly Lancashire Fusiliers DCM Winner.

A good George VI example awarded to "Group Ldr Thomas Leeming". Complete with Long Service 1948 Clasp and original named box of issue. The box with the additional inscription of "36 Park Road Adlington".

The medal is believed to have been awarded to former Sergeant T. Leeming of the 1/5th Lancashire Fusiliers who was awarded the DCM for gallantry during the German Spring Offensive of March 1918. The London Gazette confirms his home town as Adlington.
