WW1 Royal Navy Attributed Ratings Uniform.

A very rare attributed Great War example worn by Signaller Collis Cade. Comprising: Dark blue wool over smock, this with bullion signal badge, three overseas service chevrons and to the breast the British War Medal and Victory Medal ribbons. To the underside of the rear flap and faint stamped name "C.Cade". The smock has one area of moth damage nor effecting the overall appearance. ... Collar, blue & white cotton material, this with clear name stamp. ... White Lanyard. ... Accompanied by a matching pair of period Bell Bottom Trousers, but these with a faint different name. Flap fronted no moth. In nearly 40 years of handling Great War tunics, this the first RN Ratings Tunic I have owned.

Signaller Colis Cade joined the Royal Navy on the 25th September 1916 after service at HMS Pembroke he posted to the Royal Navy Trawler Section.
