WW1 Wiltshire Regiment Brothers Memorial Plaques.
This pair of Memorial Plaques commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of George Windless and Walter James Windless. GC.
19321 Private George Windless landed in France on the 11th August 1915 and was Killed in Action on the 4th April 1917 whilst serving with the 6th Bn.
19323 Lance Corporal Walter James Windless landed in France the same day as his brother and was Killed in Action on the 23rd May 1915, whilst serving with the 1st Bn.
The CWGC Roll confirms then to be the sons of Thomas Ambrose and Mary Ann Windless, of Wherwell, nr. Andover, Hants.
