Awarded to “16632 PTE H. PEARSON SUFF. R”, who was wounded on the 6th July 1916 whilst serving with the 11th Cambridge Bn on the Somme.

The British War Medal and Victory Medal complete with original silk ribbons and card forwarding box.

Private Horace Pearson enlisted on the 16th November 1914, his MIC shows he was awarded the pair only. After being wounded on the Somme he was discharged with the award of a silver war badge on the 27th September 1916, then attached to the 3rd Bn Suffolk Regiment.
