Issued to commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of “William Clark Collie” GC. Unique Name The plaque has been mounted into a contemporary bronze cross mount, retaining the rear wire stand. Scratch marks to name otherwise GC.
Private William Clark Collie of the 1/6th Bn Royal Highlanders Black Watch was living at Perth when he volunteered. He landed in France on the 2nd May 1915.
He died of wounds on the 14th October 1917.
