WW1 Machine Gun Corps Pagari Badge & Medals.

A very rare previous unrecorded pageri badge worn by 44184 Private Henry Charles Flintham who served with the 129th Coy MGC in Mesopotamia form July 1917 until the end of the Great War.
The pagari badge comprising a red felt diamond, overladed with a blue square mounted with an Other Ranks brass MGC Collar badge on four loops. Slight age wear. Height 82mm.

Accompanied by British War Medal and Victory Medal “44184 PTE H.C. FLINTHAM MGC”. These with original silk ribbons.

44184 Private Henry Charles Flintham enlisted into the 3rd BN Lincolnshire Regiment on the 7th February 1916 transferring to the Machine Gun Corps in July 1916. After training he was posted to Mesopotamia and in May 1917 was posted the 129th Coy MGC. He is noted as being wounded on the 20th October 1918. He returned to the UK in March 1919 and was discharged in October of that year. His medals were issued in 1922.
