Comprising: British War Medal, Victory Medal, these retaining original ribbons and pins as worn.

Private Edward John Tate was native of Piddington Northamptonshire and enlisted into the Northamptonshire Regiment December 1915 before transferring to the Machine Gun Corps (HB) in 1916 He was posted to the 5th Batt and then out to France 22nd July 1917. Transferring to the Tank Corps, he remained with the Corps as part of the occupation force in 1919.
