James Liniham was a native of Islington North London and originally served with the Army Service Corps landing in France on the 20th September 1914. He later transferred to the 8th Bn West Riding regiment before being Killed in Action during the German Spring Offensive on the 15th April 1918 with the 2nd Bn.
