Awarded to “3655 DMR C BLACKMAN GLOUC REGT”. Mounted as worn single entitlement.

Charles Blackman enlisted into the Gloucestershire Regiment at the age of 15 in 1892 and was discharged in 1911. It appears that after leaving the army he was employed by the Midland Railway, but after a few days was caught stealing and dismissed.
He was awarded the Long Service Medal 1st January 1911 this is his only medal awarded.
