A scarce grouping of items attributed to 262 Reginald George Batts of the 2nd Bn Australian Imperial Forces who was wounded at Gallipoli on the 29th May 1915.

Reginald George Batts volunteered on the 20th August 1914 at Randwick NSW. Joining C Company of the 2nd Bn 1st Infantry Brigade AIF he embark for Alexandria on the 18th October 1914. Landing at Gallipoli he wounded with a gun shot wound to the cheek on the 29th May 1915. He transferred to the 54th Bn in April 1916 and was posted to France, where he wounded for a second time on the 24th April 1918. He received his discharge on the 14th February 1919
