WW2 1943 Original Press Photograph Sicily Landings Very Large.

This  superb image depicts the Sicily landings 10th July 1943, British troops and armoured vehicles going ashore, seen from the inside of the landing craft. This appears to be early in the landing as no British soldiers are on the shore.
