Boer War British Army Other Ranks Issue Tunic.

A superb and extremely rare original example. Khaki Drill cotton tunic, tailored with breast pockets, these with pointed flaps. The stand collar with four pleats. The interior is tailored with “ID” card pocket and field dressing pocket, the latter has had the flap removed and tailored with a button, for easy use, this clearly indicating the tunic was worn in the filed. Complete with correct small size matching brass Victorian General service buttons. Slight service and age wear. Near VGC for the pattern.
