WW2 National Fire Service Ealing London Blitz Period Helmet.
A good and scarce early war production “Tommy” style helmet. Retaining original green painted finish with NFS transfer and Area 34. The interior with an early style circular cushion lining with the date 1939 and complete with original chinstrap. Original as left dusty condition.
Ealing was bombed on several occasions during the Blitz resulting in the deaths of 217 civilians within the area.
