WW1 British Army “B” Pattern Brodie Helmet.
A good clean example of the type, retaining virtually all the original green painted finish to the shell. The interior with the post 1917 linner with rubber ring. Complete with oilcloth lining, this has been personalised by the original owner with forehead section cut away during its working life. Also retaining the original leather chinstrap, this is strong supple condition. Overall near VGC, felt cushion to crown now absent.
