WW2 German Iron Cross & Cased War Merit Cross 1st Class with Swords Pair.
This pair has always being together and I felt it was correct to leave together.
Comprising:
Iron Cross 2nd Class by Steinhauer und Luck, Ludenscheid. The ring stamped with a “4”. The Iron Cross remains in very good condition retaining nearly all of the silver and black finish. The cross has been stitched onto the silk of the lid of the War Merit Cross.
War Merit Cross 1st Class with Swords. This retains the vertical pin to the reverse, but has now lost all it’s silvered finish. Both contained in the original case for the War Merit Cross.
