An interesting battlefield pickup of a the hilt of a French LeBelle Bayonet. Attached is an old original label with ink written stating:
“Found on the bank of the Marne River near Brussels May 14th 1964. Scene of heavy fighting during the Great War”
This year will mark 60 years since discovered.
