WW2 RAF 1st Pattern MKVII Flying Goggles & Flip Shield.
A scarce example of the 1st pattern retaining original leather strap, this with faint stamping. The frames retain nearly all the original blue painted finish and complete with matching screw nuts. This example retains its original polarised tinted flip shield as worn. The leather padding is good but a little age grubby. One lens has delaminated and could be improved. I have left the goggles in as found condition and fresh to the market.
Original flip shields are now hard to find and this example remains flat.
