WW1 Royal Artillery Unit Marked A Pattern Brodie Helmet.
A rare original untouched example of the raw rim A pattern steel helmet, retaining original brown painted finish and to the side a painted circle upper half red lower blue. I believe this to be for a Royal Artillery Battery. Retaining a second pattern lining, this being pre 1917 as the felt crown with no rubber ring. Complete with original chinstrap, leather a little dry.
Overall a very good example of this now hard to find pattern of Great War helmet with original painted device
