WW1 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders 1902 Pattern Doublet Tunic.

A rare example of the Highland regiment cut away 1902 pattern doublet worn by a Sergeant of the Regiment. The doublet is of the regulation pattern, with two pleats under the stand and fall collar. There is no lining to the collar or the underside of the pocket flaps. Tailored with brass shoulder titles, General Service buttons and cloth Sergeant chevrons. The interior with part of the original paper label and the correct combination of the WD issue stamp. The doublet remains in very clean condition with a few scattered small moth holes. Please not to front facing left lower near pocket an invisible repair has been made. This to cover damage to the cloth, this can be hardly seen as can be viewed in photograph 6
