Corporal Wilfred L Shilston is confirmed as serving with both units and later the Royal Engineers. His MIC shows the Devonshire Regiment and notes serving with the 1st/1st Royal Devonshire Yeomanry. He landed at Hedjaz on the 23rd September 1915.
