A scarce original Second World War period 'Woman Home Guard Auxiliary' large economy issue badge, made from brown plastic material the reverse with maker's details "A Stanley & Sons Walsall" "Prov.Pat. 1-A". Very good condition, complete with original metal pin fittings, no fading or distortion. Diameter 41mm.

Issued from July 1943 and could be worn on left side of a coat or dress, but frequently seen worn as a Hat Badge.
