Attributed Lieutenant Commander J.A.F. Fisher served as a Midshipman in the Far East and the 1945 Naval List shows him onboard HMS Suffolk. In 1956 he is shown as a Lieutenant Commander onboard HMS Camberford a fast patrol vessel.
