WW2 RAF Observer's Battledress & Aircrew Whistle
A good and rare example worn by a Navigation Leader, Flight Lieutenant. Retaining original Flight Lieutenant rank and padded Observer brevet. The interior with issue label. The battlesdress is complete with the chrome plated aircrew issue whistle. The blouse has been worn with service wear, this conducive with the wear to the plating of the whistle. GC. The rank and brevet, would indicate that the blouse was worn by a section leader, Navigation Leader on a Squadron. These men usually had complete a Tour of Ops, prior to the appointment. The blouse with good service wear.
