WW2 Period Reconnaissance Corps Officer’s Battledress Uniform.

A rare near complete example as worn by a Captain C.P. Baker of the Regiment Comprising:

Black Armoured Beret, retaining original Cap Badge and improvised metal backing plate. Issue stamps for 1944.

Battledress blouse, this has been re-tailored for Officer wear. Retaining original embroidered shoulder titles and arm of service bar to each sleeve and to each shoulder strap Regimental pattern rank stars. Complete with regimental lanyard. The stamping to the issue label is now washed out, but with pencil name “Baker”. Overall Good worn condition.

Battledress trousers, these tailored with leg pocket and field dressing pocket. WD Issue stamp with “Z” Code indicating 1945. One very small moth nip only, otherwise very good clean condition.

Officer’s shirt Soft cotton pull over the head pattern with separate matching named collar. Minor age wear.

Scrim net Plain green worn condition

1937 Pattern belt, holster and ammo pouch, age wear

Pistol lanyard damaged.

A superb original untouched group as originally worn
