WW2 Period RAF Wireless Operator Air Gunner Brevet Badge.
One of the rarer of the RAF aircrew flying badges, this is a very good original padded example, retaining original backing cloth (loose).
These brevets proved unpopular with aircrew the wartime interpretation of the word WAG being a a person given to droll, roguish, or mischievous humor. The badge was quickly replaced with the S Brevet flying badge.
