WW2 Period 8th Gurkha Rifles, RAF Pilots Uniforms.
A rare and unusual pair of uniforms worn by a Commanding Officer of the Regiment a forma qualified RAF pilot. Comprising: KD service tunic, complete with black horn regimental pattern buttons and Lt Col rank insignia. To the left breast RAF Pilot Wings (Flat Indian Made), IGS (1908), IGS (1937), 1939/45 Star, Burma Star, War Medal, Indian Service Medal, Indian Independence Medal. Minor wear GC. ..... Officer tailored Battledress Blouse modeled on the 1937 pattern. Lt Col cloth rank insignia and to the left breast corresponding RAF pilot Wings and medal ribbons. Some minor moth nips not effecting the overall appearance. GC.
