WW2 Free Polish Army Attributed Doctor’s Field Surgeon Kit.
A rare example containing various medal instruments, threads etc. Various issue stamps with a possible date 1938 or 1939. Also with a clear ink name Dr J Nowakowski. The overall condition is good with some field wear, part of leather strap absent. Accompanied by Dr Nowakowski original ID dog Tag.
DR. Jerzy qualified as a Doctor at the University of Walsaw in 1938, It is presumed he escaped the German occupation reaching the UK. In the British Medical Records of 1947 he is listed with the Polish Forces. A 1960 Directory of Oxfordshire Lists Jerzy M Nowakowski MB listed a Physician and Surgeon at 97 Green Road and 8 The Broadway Kidlington.
