WW2 Battle of Britain & France Pattern B Type Flying Helmet.
A good and classic example of the pattern of helmet worn by aircrew during the Battle of France and later Battle of Britain and the early Bomber Command Campaign. Polished brown leather, tailored with earphone covers with working original zips concealing the earphone mounts. The interior with ear donuts. Label has been removed during its working live and was the small square pattern. Ink name of D.V. Foster Aeronautics W. The size is probably 3 a good size. Leather a little dry but remains very supple, one very small rip to the front.
