WW2 Battle of Britain & France 1939 B Type Flying Helmet.
A good and classic example of the pattern of helmet worn by aircrew during the Battle of France and later Battle of Britain. Polished brown leather, retaining a good untouched colour (no later boot polish). Tailored with earphone covers with working original zips. The interior with a Frank Bryan Size 3 1939 label. The helmet is as originally worn and has never been fitted with ear donuts or earphone mounts. Very good supple condition.
